Project Description

University Standalone Teaching Facility

A dilapidated 1960’s office building taken on by Anglia Ruskin University to consolidate teaching facilities for medical students, previously dotted around Peterborough, into one building. The first phase was for internal refurbishments to provide lecture theatres and classrooms with a library, refectory, reception and offices. Several areas are left mothballed for future expansion. Later phases will see the building re-clad to increase thermal performance, reduce solar gain and provide a much-needed refresh of the aesthetics. Several re-cladding options were considered before settling on the final theme.
