Project Description

Concept for Proposed Conservation and Education Centre – Banham Zoo

We’re delighted to be involved in the early design stages of an exciting new development at Banham Zoo. A superb initiative that places education, conservation, and community engagement at its core.

The proposal supports the Zoo’s ongoing commitment to the conservation of native species through the introduction of bespoke conservation pods. These will not only serve a vital ecological purpose but will also become part of the wider visitor experience.

The conservation pods will be integrated into a purpose-built education centre, designed to accommodate school groups, families, and visitors. The centre will feature flexible learning environments, interactive exhibits, and corporate facilities, creating a dynamic, multi-use space that promotes discovery, engagement, and participation in conservation and sustainability.

This scheme forms part of a broader funding initiative aimed at enhancing the Zoo’s educational outreach and visitor offer, while providing a welcoming and inspiring hub for younger generations to connect with wildlife and conservation.

We look forward to developing the design further and supporting Banham Zoo in delivering this important and inspiring project.
