Broadland Sports Club

PRP was appointed to deliver a detailed technical drawing package and Building Regulations services for the new sports hall and gym extension at Broadland Sports Club, following planning approval previously secured by David Futter Associates. The project was delivered in collaboration with NCL Contractors.

The development comprises a purpose-built, badminton-specific sports hall and gym facility, designed to enhance and support the existing Broadland Sports Club in Fleggborough. The building has been designed in accordance with Sport England specifications and incorporates a range of sustainable technologies, including underfloor heating powered by an air-source heat pump and photovoltaic (PV) panels.

Externally, the extension features striking black cladding, creating a strong contemporary identity and a dramatic contrast with the original sports club building and the surrounding rural landscape.
