Bus Industrial Tools Warehouse, Workshop & Offices

A newbuild project to construct a new warehouse, workshop and office building, transit yard, car park and ancillary works on an existing brownfield site, based in the Gt Yarmouth and Waveney Enterprise Zone.

The warehouse/workshop/office building was designed and provided as “flat-pack” by BOMA, a Netherlands based firm.  PRP were employed direct by Bus Industrial Tools and provided advice on UK regulations, carried out site design-including consideration around known underground services, gained permissions, organised tenders for the site works and M&E packages-jointly with Daniel Connal Partnership Quantity Surveyors, and carried out site administration throughout the site stages.

The brief was to provide a newbuild facility as UK base for Bus Industrial Tools to supply specialist tools and plant to the offshore and renewables industry.  This included substantial transit yard and external “lay-down” space.

The building sits next to the Seajacks facility-which PRP also designed and administrated previously-and so forms continuity of frontage to the seaward side.
