New Leisure Facility

We’re delighted to confirm that planning permission has been secured for a significant new leisure facility at an independent holiday park in North Lincolnshire. The development will introduce a swimming pool hall, water flumes, a gym and fitness suite, spa treatment rooms, and a fully equipped changing village, enhancing the site’s reputation as a leading destination for holiday and leisure experiences in the Lincolnshire area.

This milestone marks the culmination of a carefully considered planning process that began in 2021. The design has evolved to reflect the needs of both on-site guests and the wider public, resulting in a contemporary, landmark building that integrates wellbeing, recreation, and architectural distinction.

The pool hall is defined by its elegant, open structure, with a cantilevered roof, angled façade, and vertical glazing that wraps around an external walkway, all carefully composed to deliver a strong sense of arrival. Internally, the children’s pool is positioned as a visible and engaging focal point, drawing visitors in and celebrating the energy of the space.

The design ensures that all spaces are configured for flow, accessibility, and clarity of use, supporting staff and guest movement through zones without compromising the visual coherence of the building. Special attention has been given to unifying new and existing buildings, employing materials such as standing seam metal roofing, Equitone Linea cladding and a balanced palette of render and brickwork to echo architectural cues found across the wider park.

Sustainable energy systems are embedded throughout the proposal, aligning the building’s performance with the park’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility.
