Woodhill Park, North Norfolk

A new holiday park project at Woodhill Park in East Runton, is now nearing completion, with final landscaping and finishing touches due in time for the summer 2025 season.

This development replaces a former touring area with newly positioned static caravans, carefully integrated into the landscape. To address proximity to the main road, the scheme includes a substantial acoustic fence and earth banks, which amazingly reduced the decibel levels significantly. The banks are heavily planted and, as they mature, will form an attractive green screen that softens the visual impact of the fencing and enhances the site’s setting.

Dry and favourable winter conditions allowed excellent progress during the main construction phase. However, the unusually dry spring months in April and May created challenges for the early planting. With the expected return of summer rainfall, the landscaping will soon establish fully, bringing vitality and greenery to the development.

This project demonstrates how thoughtful design and environmental sensitivity can elevate practical site improvements into a more enjoyable and sustainable visitor experience.
